GSML portrayal features area analogous to GeoSciML mapped features, with additional text attributes for human consumption,

Are features from Portrayal another representation of "full" GeoSciML MappedFeatures ? In another words: If I have one feature in TV (says, a geologic unit), does it match a single MappedFeature in the the "full" model (if so, should the identities be the same - as a requirement) and we are looking at two different representations of a MappedFeature.

A portrayal feature and a gsml:MappedFeature may share the same geometry, but they are not the same thing. However, they may have specification uri's to the same GeoScimL GeologicFeature.
