Meeting Invite
Hi, As you are aware the Bureau of Meteorology and the CSIRO are participating in the development of WaterML2 Part 2, Ratings Gaugings and Sections. We are working on this activity jointly though the Water Information Research and Development Alliance (WIRADA 1). The development of the standard is occurring through the Open Geospatial Consortium 2 Hydrology Domain Working Group 3. Following on from our preliminary telephone discussion in June, we would like to start the conversations to progress planning for the Interoperability experiment. We would like to invite you to participate in a group telecom where we will update you on activity to date and discuss the experiment, participation and the next steps. As you can appreciate we dont have all the answers yet, but are working towards building clarity and definition in the activity. A significant part of this process is to first understand what the questions are that need to be answered, this first meeting will give opportunity for these questions to come out. Attached are two Interoperability experiment overview documents, these document articulate the project objectives at the high level and a useful for project orientation. We have set up a poll to assist in determining the most convenient meeting time. Please open the poll, enter your name and let us know your preferences.
