The sample WMS Capabilities document from DWD's WMS server describes an ensemble layer for the 2m temperature parameter of DWD's ensemble model COSMO_DE_EPS. This ensemble model consists of 20 members. Maps for ensemble products derived from statistical analysis are produced by GetMap requests which use the appropriate style for the statistical operation. The Capabilities document defines two styles for the ensemble layer. The style "temperature_K" could be used to visualize individual members. The style "mean_temperature_K" could be used to visualize the ensemble means of a collection of ensemble members. These members are specified by the DIM_ENSEMBLE_MEMBER parameter in the GetMap request.
