Agenda
- HY_Features to Standard / Hydrologic Feature SWG (Irina Dornblut/Rob Atkinson) [ powerpoint slides]

- Pete gave a short presentation on this in the closing plenary, separate from the Hydro DWG report.
- There was some discussion due to recent Testbed 11 work on REST and JSON positions by the OGC. Petes doc was approved by the TC to be released as a public OGC Discussion Paper.

- Call for attendance at 6th Hydrology Workshop, Orleans France, 21-25 Sept 2015 -- contact Sylvain Grellet!
In reference to the HY_Features SWG, there was some discussion whether this would be better advanced by an Interoperability Experiment rather than a SWG, which is more constrained in sharing information. Some at the meeting have been unsuccessful in adapting the NHDPlus information model to the HY_Features model, and felt an IE would help develop tested implementations. Irina, Rob & others at the meeting felt the SWG could decide whether to hold an IE, and how to organize it, but wanted the structure of the SWG to help ensure progress. By majority vote of those attending (including remote attendees) the motion to conduct a SWG was passed. The TC plenary then voted to approve it without further discussion. The SWG Charter document will be revised based on this discussion, and re-posted to OGC Pending Docs soon for DWG & TC approval. Those interested in joining the SWG please contact Irina Dornblut and Rob Atkinson.
